The Phillies will return home on Monday to face the Nationals after a long, 10-game road trip.

When they do so, the team will begin a 'DO AC' campaign that will last all summer long.

FROM THE PHILLIES:

Summer’s even more fun when you “Do AC” at the ballpark – and vice versa – thanks to a new partnership between the Phillies and Atlantic City Alliance.

Starting Monday, June 17, fans coming to Phillies games will be able to experience the first of several Atlantic City attractions that will be on display at Citizens Bank Park throughout the season. Highlights include:

Giant Phillie Phanatic Sand Sculpture, June 17-23: Thousands of pounds of sand will be morphed into a Phanatic sand castle, where it will be on display at the Left Field Gate during the Washington Nationals and New York Mets series – giving fans the chance to experience Atlantic City’s “World Championship of Sand Sculpting” event while at the ballpark. Created by Atlantic City native sand sculptor John Gowdy, this 10-foot high, 8-foot wide Phanatic sand castle will be a great photo opportunity for fans. The display was created to showcase Atlantic City’s World Championship of Sand Sculpting, a free event on the Atlantic City Beach at Missouri Avenue from June 13-30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Welcome Back Miss America! Contestants come to ballpark on September 6:  The Miss America Pageant will soon be returning to New Jersey and the Atlantic City Boardwalk. In celebration, the pageant will host 13 days of events in September – including an appearance with all 53 Miss America contestants and the crowned Miss America Mallory Hagan at Citizens Bank Park on Friday, September 6, during the 7:05 p.m. Phillies-Braves game.

More announcements to come! Fans are urged to check phillies.com for details on more Do AC events at Citizens Bank Park. Game tickets are needed to access the Phillies-Atlantic City events at Citizens Bank Park.

The fun continues from the ballpark to the beach, as fans are invited to Atlantic City to get an early start to the Labor Day weekend with a free Phillies event:

“Phillies at the Beach” Viewing Party, Thursday, August 29: The Phillies and Comcast SportsNet, in partnership with the Atlantic City Alliance, are hosting a “Phillies at the Beach” viewing party in Atlantic City at Arkansas Avenue and the Beach.  The free festivities begin at noon and allow fans the chance to watch the Phillies take on the Mets from a massive mobile movie screen right on the sand. The Comcast SportsNet broadcast of the game will begin at 1:00 p.m. The beach viewing party, with no beach tags required, is close to shops, dining and other amenities including parking. Fans will be treated to sand sculpture lessons, as well as appearances by the Phanatic and other special guests. The event is weather permitting; fans should check Phillies.com for more details, as well as follow Phillies on Twitter, using #PhilliesAtTheBeach.
