Phillies’ Weston Wilson Begins Rehab in Lehigh Valley
Philadelphia Phillies utility man Weston Wilson is getting promoted, which could mean he is getting closer to a return to the major league roster. Wilson will be heading to Lehigh Valley to continue his rehab assignment, hitting second for the IronPigs on Tuesday, April 15.
2025 debut in ClearwaterPhillies outfield struggles
Currently, the Phillies are struggling with production from left and center field with Max Kepler, Brandon Marsh, and Johan Rojas playing in those spots.
Marsh is hitting .108 (4-for-37) with one homer through 14 games and is hitless in his last 26 at-bats, causing manager Rob Thomson to sit him for the next few games.
While Marsh and Rojas have been splitting time at center field, Kepler is getting most of the reps in left field and is off to a slow start, hitting .224 with one home run in 14 games this season.
