The Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly signed center Joel Embiid to a five-year, $148 million extension to remain a part of the process.

The deadline for an extension was Oct. 31.

When on the court, Embiid was dominating, averaging 20.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game and shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range.

Warren’s extension shows a commitment to the player despite his injury history which has limited him to just 31 total games in three seasons.

The 23-year-old was drafted at No. 3 by the Sixers in 2014.
