According to the National Retail Federation, approximately $11.6 Billion will be spent in 2024 for the Halloween Holiday. This number includes candy, costumes, holiday decorations, and seasonal foods.

But a new study from J Bell Services reveals that some states love Halloween much more than others in America. They created a ranking of the United States with the most Halloween Holiday Spirit based on the following criteria:

-Number of haunted houses and holiday locations in the state
-Scheduled Halloween Events in that state
-Google search trends related to Halloween costumes, music, movies, and candy
-Number of Spirit Halloween stores
-Halloween-related social media engagement
