On Wednesday morning, the NBA's Christmas Day slate of games were announced with the Sixers scheduled to take on the Celtics in Boston on December 25 at 5:30 p.m. on ABC.

The NBA followed their Christmas game schedule with the unveiling of the Opening Week games on national television along with the games being played on MLK Day.

The Sixers will open their season against the Boston Celtics at TD Garden on Tuesday, October 16 at 8:00 p.m. on TNT.

Philadelphia's second game of the regular season, their home opener, will also be televised on the national stage. The Sixers are set to host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, October 18 at 8:00 p.m. also on TNT.

Fast forward to 2019, and the Sixers are once again on the slate to play on a holiday, this time on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Philadelphia will host the Houston Rockets at 8:00 p.m. on TNT.

As the schedule continues to release, it's sufficient to say that these won't be the only nationally televised games that will include the young, up-and-coming roster of the Sixers.
