Saint Augustine Prep High School Graduate Jack Crawford will be joining his fifth NFL Training Camp after he was signed to join the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday evening:

Crawford was a Fifth Round Pick of the Oakland Raiders in the 2012 NFL Draft after playing College Football at Penn State for three seasons.  Crawford played mostly on Special Teams with the Raiders over the course of two seasons before getting his first real shot at starting in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys.  Crawford compiled 9.5 Sacks and 32 Solo Tackles with the Cowboys in 38 Games.  Before the 2017 NFL season, Crawford signed a Three Year Contract in Free Agency to join the Atlanta Falcons where he would start in 15 of his 36 games played tallying 17 Quarterback Hits and Eight Tackles For Loss.  Last season, Crawford started Nine Games for the Tennessee Titans compiling Two Sacks, 20 Solo Tackles, and 11 Quarterback Pressures.

The signing of Crawford was apart of a cluster of Transactions by the Cardinals trying to address their Defensive Line after they had to place Defensive Tackle Xavier Williams on Injured Reserve.  According to the Cardinals Depth Chart, Crawford joins a group of five Defensive Ends and 13 Defensive Lineman that will be apart of their team ahead of the team's first Preseason Game this Friday Night versus the Dallas Cowboys.  After finishing 12th in the NFL in Points Per Game Allowed, the Cardinals' defense has seen changes this offseason losing their leader in Sacks, Hassan Reddick, in Free Agency but they signed 3-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year JJ Watt.

You can hear Jack Crawford and the Cardinals play the Cowboys in Preseason action this Friday Night on 973 ESPN FM with coverage beginning at 930pm.
