The Philadelphia Eagles allowed Malcolm Jenkins to walk and hit free agency. I believe this was the right move based off of his age and how much money he wanted.

If he was going to get paid top safety money, it would be in the $13-15M per year range and this organization needs to go in a different direction.

It's a hard goodbye, no doubt about it. He was a great leader and an awesome guy to represent this city. With that being said, can't other players lead? They sure can.

Jalen Mills and Rodney Mcleod were brought back to help fill the void. It should also be noted that Mills potentially will play a mix of safety and cornerback.

This is exactly what Howie Roseman said it was going to be.

A retool.

It's time to get younger, Javon Hargrave and the draft, while getting rid of older players, Jason Peters and Jenkins.
