Philadelphia Daily News Bob Cooney called in to talk about Thad Young getting injured last night. It was announced today that Thad Young will be out for approximately three weeks with a hamstring injury. Our Flyers insider called in to talk about the Flyers early struggles thus far, they play a hot Lightning team tonight in Philadelphia. Isaac talked about Tye McGinn, a rookie who is playing on the top line with Claude Giroux. Isaac believes that McGinn will get sent back to the Phantoms once the team gets healthy again. Isaac also said that they Flyers need these 2 points tonight, with only 38 games left to go in the season. Mosher also reports that Dennis Dixon and the Eagles are in contract discussions. The Wednesday $3M deadline is fast approaching for Mike Vick. If the quarterback is on the roster by tomorrow evening, he will be guaranteed a $3M bonus. Much speculation has been made about this bonus because why would the Eagles pay it if they dont plan on keeping him.
