Firing Andy Reid

Mike and Todd open today's show asking the people about the potential firing of Andy Reid. We all can agree that doing that would bring in a different coach and his voice, but would it bring in a better one? Some would argue that a different voice is a better one for the simple reason that it's not Andy Reid's. But with the names out there, is the best option the coach you already have?

Marc Jackson

Sixers are back in action tonight against the Pistons, the game can be heard on 97.3 ESPN FM. Marc Jackson, CSN Philly, called in to talk about the type of season Jrue Holiday is having despite the alarming rate of turnovers thus far. Andrew Bynum is now out until at least late December and Marc Jackson expected this. Bynum is still a long ways away from being a force in the middle due to getting in game shape and condition. Leonard Weaver

Leonard Weaver called in for a Weaver Wednesday. Weaver said thats with the team at 3-6, it's a possibility that the locker room could be spiraling out control with players being more concerned with their future. Weaver played with the Seattle Seahawks at the time when Mike Holmgren was fired and he said it causes a divide in the locker room. Follow Weaver on Twitter.

Sheil Kapadia

Went over the game tape with Sheil Kapadia, Birds 24/7. Kapadia said that if there is a positive from the Eagles/Cowboys game was Evan Mathis and Dallas Reynolds. The Eagles absolutely need to get DeSean Jackson the ball more, as well as LeSean McCoy. On the defensive side of the ball, the Eagles opponents have again been running the ball up and down the field on the Eagles and the defensive line has continued to have issues stopping the run at the line of scrimmage.

DeSean Jackson's Season

Mike and Todd talk a little about DeSean Jackson and the season he is having. His yardage is up, but his touchdowns are down. That brings up the fact that Jackson really isn't the best red zone option for the Eagles. When compared with a player like Wes Welker who has similar size, the numbers don't match up.

Phillies and Hamilton?

Did some Phillies free agency here and the possibility of them signing Josh Hamilton to a contract. He's a power hitter who puts up huge numbers, but can also strike out a lot and has a history of substance abuse problems.
