St. Augustine Prep used a 12-2 run, including a 7-0 run with stars Sa'eed Nelson and Justyn Mutts on the bench and pulled away from Atlantic City 66-60 on Friday night at the Battle by the Bay.

The Hermits were led by sophomore Austin Kennedy who scored 11 of his 20 points in the third quarter to help St. Augustine improve to 15-1 on the season. Kennedy added seven critical points in the fourth quarter by going 5-for-6 from the free throw line to help close out the win.

St. Augustine also got 18 points from Nelson and 10 point from Nate Aldrich. Atlantic City was placed four players in double figures with Lamar Thomas and Jamir Prevard who each had 14 points and Kevin Allen had 12 points for the Vikings who fell to 8-4 on the season.

Atlantic City will face Pleasantville on Sunday in the final game at the Battle by the Bay (Listen on 97.3 ESPN).
