Alex Lyon made 25 saves in a shutout, and the Flyers were handed their fourth straight loss, 3-0, to the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night.

A shorthanded goal by Nick Deslauriers and another by Noah Cates pushed the Flyers ahead. They locked things down on defense the rest of the way. It all led to a 3-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings.

With the trade deadline now in the past, the Flyers begin the final 20 games against a team that started selling at the deadline, the Detroit Red Wings.

Kevin Hayes scored in the third round of the shootout and Martin Jones capped off a strong game with a save on Filip Chytil to secure the Flyers first shootout win of the season, a 4-3 decision over the New York Rangers. 

The Winnipeg Jets are in town on Tuesday night for the final game before a week-long break that includes All-Star weekend, as the Flyers face a limited schedule throughout the month.
