South Jersey athletes from Middle Township and Atlantic City have had their high school basketball seasons ripped away from them for reasons out of their control.
The NHL has announced that the Flyers game on Sunday against the New York Rangers has also been postponed. The league is expected to be able to re-open training facilities on Monday. Their next game would come against the Rangers on Thursday, Feb. 18.
The Flyers game on Tuesday night against the Washington Capitals has also been postponed, in addition to their games on Thursday and Saturday against the New Jersey Devils, as a result of ongoing COVID-19 issues with the Flyers.
