The Flyers and Vancouver Canucks meet on Saturday night as the Flyers head into Western Canada for the next three games.

The Vancouver Canucks come in with a modest 3-3-1 record in the first seven games of their season, including the 5-4 shootout victory in Philadelphia on Oct. 15. The Flyers will be looking for a different result as they look to build on Wednesday's win.

The Flyers open things up on Friday night at Wells Fargo Center going against the Vancouver Canucks. After last season, it's already refreshing for the Flyers to be facing a team from the Western Conference that they haven't seen in quite some time. It also marks the first chance for this new group of players to make their mark on the team and start the season off on a positive note.

Travis Konecny had three assists in the Metropolitan Division's 9-5 loss to the Atlantic Division. The Pacific Division claimed victory in the 3-on-3 tournament with a 5-4 win over the Atlantic in the final at the 2020 NHL All-Star Game in St. Louis.
