The Philadelphia Eagles extended their season by dominating the Washington Redskins 24-0. That coupled with a loss by the Vikings allowed the defending Super Bowl Champs to return to the postseason for the second year in a row.

The Philadelphia Eagles season may have come down to a tipped ball that went for a touchdown in overtime. That play gave the Dallas Cowboys a 29-23 win and likely put the Eagles out of contention for the NFC East title.
