An AFC West personnel man gave this quick scouting report to Geoff Mosher on new Eagles safety Will Parks.

"Really good backup with specific role. Don't want him starting 16."

Problem is, right now Parks is an expected starter on an overhauled Eagles defense that has added Pro Bowl corner Darius Slay but lost Pro Bowl safety Malcolm Jenkins and still has holes all over the place.

Parks and linebacker Jatavis Brown were the only moves made by Howie Roseman over the weekend to improve the team. Is there more to come or is Roseman done signing players on the open market?
