Embiid, George and Maxey made their debut together on Wednesday night and combined for 45 points, 18 rebounds, and six assists in 72 minutes and another injury.

On Tuesday ESPN senior NBA insider Shams Charania dropped a Sixers bombshell, stating the guard Tyrese Maxey challenged All-Star center and former NBA league MVP Joel Embiid to be on time for team activities.

The bad news keeps on coming for the Philadelphia Sixers.

Hopefully the ends justify the means for Philadelphia.

There are high hopes in Philadelphia again.

The Sixers are pretty well set at a couple of positions, but could use some added depth at another.

Los Angeles may have represented George's storybook ending. But, his eyes are focused on a new relationship that has taken him across the country to Philadelphia, far away from home.

While the rest of the league was worried about keeping itself away from the straight jacket that is the second apron, Maxey's patience had the Sixers in position to create a big three with cap space left over to add to the roster.

All eyes will be on Philadelphia this summer.
