A teenage girl who attended Vineland High School North was struck and killed by two vehicles while walking to her bus stop this morning.

According to WPVI-TV, police say 14-year-old Alexa Strittmatter died after the crash at 6:45 this morning on South Main Road between Magnolia and East Elmer Roads. Police tell The Daily Journal the teen was first struck by a car headed north on Main Road and then another car headed south on Main Road. Both vehicles involved in the crash remained at the scene.

"We're all grieving today and as a parent and a grandparent, this is an unimaginable tragedy. I can't even comprehend it," said Vineland School District spokesman John Sbrana to WPVI.

There was no immediate word on any charges as this investigation continues.
