Last season, the Heat became the first Play-In team to reach the NBA Finals since the tournament began in 2019-20.  To do that this season, they will have to start their run without a key player, who will miss Wednesday's NBA Play-in game in Philadelphia against the Sixers.

One item to watch  for the Heat entering the game were injuries to Terry Rozier and Duncan Robinson as both players missed the final 4 games of the season.

Rozier is a big loss for the Heat, playing in 61 games this season, averaging 19.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game this season.

he really came on late for Miami, over his last 21 games, Rozier is averaging 18.2 points and 42% shooting on 3-pointers, including 56% in his last 6 games.

Duncan Robinson is probable with left facet syndrome that cause him to miss four straight games for the Heat.

 

As for the regular season series, the 76ers and Heat split the season series 2-2, but Joel Embiid and Jimmy Butler only played one of the four meetings. They both played in the most recent meeting on April 4 with the 76ers winning 109-105 in Miami.

The winner of the game on Wednesday will play on Saturday against the the Knicks in the first-round.
