Things continue to change for the Eagles, as running back Jordan Howard has decided to skip town, and sign with the Miami Dolphins on a two-year contract.

The deal is reported to be worth a little over $10 million per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Howard has rushed for 1,000 yards in two of his first four NFL seasons, but a pinched nerve in his shoulder derailed the final six weeks of his 2019 season.

After the injury, the Eagles turned the offense over to rookie Miles Sanders, who now will be at the top of the depth chart.  Sanders and Boston Scott are the lone remaining running back on the Eagles roster.

In 10 games for the Eagles Howard ran for 525 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Eagles also lost LB Kamu Grugier-Hill, to Miami. He gets a one-year deal with the Dolphins.

He has been with the Eagles since 2016, making 16 starts over the past two years.

With Grugier-Hill out, the Eagles are very thin at linebacker after already cutting Nigel Bradham.
