The Locker Room with Billy Schweim Christmas Wish List

With Christmas Day coming up the Monday after this weekend three days away, The Locker Room with Billy Schweim and my crew including Mike Carlin, Dave Klemic, Josh Hennig, Nick Earnshaw, and Danny Ryan wants to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

I wrote to Santa Claus and asked for Five presents for Philly sports teams this year:

The first gift I want is for the Eagles to turn it around and win convincingly over the Giants on Christmas Day.  We need good vibes this holiday season for the Birds.

My second request is for Santa to give us continued inspired hockey by the Flyers, plus get a bonafide goal scorer at the trade deadline (not asking for too much here).

Third, I want the Phillies to get a pitcher to solidify their rotation.  The Dodgers just signed another high-profile pitcher in Yoshinobu Yamamoto, so I need Santa Claus to get in touch with Phillies President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski.

Fourth, I want the Sixers to stay healthy.  Joel Embiid had a monster month of December averaging 41.4 points in eight games while shooting shooting 92.5 from the foul line along with 12.9 rebounds per game.  A healthy Embiid means a deep postseason run for the 76ers. 

My last wish is that one of our teams win a Championship this season!  Only two Philadelphia sports teams have won titles in their sports this century: the 2008 Phillies and the 2017 Eagles.
