Sixers win, Flyers in Dallas, Jerry "nervous" and "scared" of the Eagles...Here is a look at everything you need to know in sports:

Two in a Row for the Sixers:  The home-town five made it two in a row this pre-season over the Washington Wizards, downing Washington 101-94 at the First Union Center.  Jrue Holiday broke out in the fourth quarter scorting 15 of his 24 in the final 5:35 to lead the Sixers to the win.  The Sixers will open the season on Monday in Portland.

Philly in Dallas:  The Flyers are in Dallas tonight to take on the Stars.  The Flyers are now trying to avoid a season-high third straight defeat when it continues a five-game road trip Wednesday night against the Dallas Stars in a matchup of division leaders.  The Flyers are hoping to get Claude Giroux back for this game as his status was upgraded to day-to-day with a concussion.

Philly in Dallas II: The Eagles head to Dallas as a two point underdog.  Jerry Jones said on 105.e the Fan in Dallas that he was "nervous" and "scared" about the game.  Was this a calculated comment or an honest thought about the Eagles?  The Eagles humiliated the Cowboys in Philadelphia and now with two seasons hanging in the balance, maybe Jerry should be nervous and scared.

Daily News Writer Resigns:  Long-time Philadelphia Daily news writer and Baseball Hall of Famer Bill Conlin "retired" yesterday amid allegations that he molested three young girls and a boy in the 1970's.
