Every year, students from around New Jersey submit applications to participate in the Governor's STEM Scholars Program. This program prepares High School and College Students for future careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

The Governor's STEM Program is free to participate and has produced 850 STEM Scholars from New Jersey. This is a Public-Private Partnership with the following entities participating in the program:

-New Jersey Department Of Education
-Research and Development Council Of New Jersey
-New Jersey Office Of The Secretary Of Higher Education
-New Jersey Office Of The Governor
-New Jersey's Leading Research Companies and Higher Education Institutions

The 2024 Class of Governor's STEM Scholars received an extensive introduction to the current state and future of New Jersey's STEM Professional fields.

What Students Are Part of the 2024 Governor's STEM Scholars Class

The 129 Students got to go on field trips to Facilities and Labs, participate in STEM Professional Conferences, receive internship opportunities, connect with Professionals in different STEM Fields, and the students collaborated on research projects.

*Aaron Simpson, Senior, Atlantic City High School
*Isabela Simpson, Second-year Chemical Engineering Student at Stevens Institute of Technology
*Praise Sodimu, Senior, Lindenwold High School
*Justen Wen, Senior, Middle Township High School
