UMAMI Asian Fusion Restaurant Coming to Downtown Hammonton

A new Asian fusion restaurant experience is coming to downtown Hammonton.

From the team behind Hammonton's Scarpelli comes a new modern Asian dining experience. called UMAMI.

Scarpelli, which is located at 705 12th Street in Hammonton, has become a favorite spot for Italian-fusion, where old-school meets new school.

A New Chapter for Bellevue Avenue

There is a sign on the former Annata Wine Bar that reads, " New dining experience coming soon."

Now comes UMAMI, which will be located in the heart of Hammonton's Downtown Main Street District at 216 Bellevue Ave, in the spot formerly home to Annata Wine Bar.

Annata was in Hammonton for almost two decades before closing for good in April.

The new spot will add another vibrant restaurant option to places like Belle on Bellevue, El Nuevo Mariachi Loco, and Marcello's Trattoria, to name a few.

Liquor License Transfer and Opening Timeline

The alcoholic beverage license was transferred in August, suggesting the new spot will serve alcohol. 

While the new restaurant posted, "We can’t wait to share more with you soon," no further information has been given, including an opening date, but when we know, we will provide an update.
