The backup quarterback is one of the best jobs in sports, until you have to play of course.

Arizona Cardinals QB Drew Stanton had cameras watching his every move on a touchdown Sunday night and he wasn't even on the field.

During a long 48-yard touchdown by Andre Ellington, cameras caught Stanton going almost stride for stride with Ellington delivering a glorious dance.

He remains calm at first, but after Ellington scores the touchdown he goes bonkers.

Let's check out the film:

Give credit to Stanton for remaining composed during the run. He did wind up losing that composure after the touchdown like a kid in a candy store.

The media actually asked head coach Bruce Arians about the dance moves after the game and he admitted they weren't pretty.
