Congratulations to St. Augustine Prep's sophomore swimming sensation Zach Washart who took home last week's 97.3 ESPN High School Athlete of the Week honors.

This week, we have a new set of local student-athletes who shine on their respective courts and each are in the running now to take home this week’s Athlete of the Week award.

Tariq Adams, Track and Field, Pleasantville - The senior cleared 6-feet-8-inches to win the high jump at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions.

 

Ola Oguntuase, Basketball, Atlantic Christian - The senior scored her 1000th career point and grabbed her 1000th career rebound in the same game.

 

Trey Smith, Basketball, Wildwood Catholic - The sophomore scored 17 points and made five key free throws down the stretch to secure a two-point win in the CAL Tournament.

 

Pat D'Arcy, Wrestling, Holy Spirit - The Princeton-bound senior won his fourth district title, securing a new school record in the process.

 

Madie Gibson, Basketball, Lower Cape May - The senior scored her 1000th career point in a win over Ocean City to go along with a double-double in the Caper Tigers' CAL Tournament win over Holy Spirit.

 

Nazir Williams, Basketball, Bridgeton - The UConn football recruit scored his 1000th career point and then registered a double-double in a CAL Tournament loss to Atlantic City.
