Congratulations to Lower Cape May senior Madie Gibson who took home last week's 97.3 ESPN High School Athlete of the Week honors after collecting her 1,000th career point.

This week, we have a new set of local student-athletes who shine on their respective courts and each are in the running now to take home this week’s Athlete of the Week award.

You can cast your vote below as many times as you’d like, and then you can hear the winner announced live on the South Jersey Sports Report with Mike Frankel every Saturday morning beginning at 9:00.

Connor Agostino, Wrestling, Egg Harbor Township - The sophomore won the Region 8 wrestling championship at 195 pounds despite being seeded 10th.

Sierra Schoenewald, Basketball, Ocean City - The senior grabbed 14 rebounds as the Raiders controlled the boards on the way to winning the CAL championship.

Colin McHugh, Swimming, St. Augustine - The senior won the 100 yard breaststroke in record time during the NJSIAA Meet of Champions.

Kevin Allen, Basketball, Atlantic City - The senior dropped 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the Vikings win over Southern Regional in the Group 4 quarterfinals.

Justyn Mutts, Basketball, St. Augustine - The sensational sophomore had 21 points on 10-for-15 shooting as The Prep won their CAL championship game.

Amanda Nunan, Swimming, Ocean City - Another underclassman up for Athlete of the Week, she's won two events at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions, plus was part of a winning relay team.
