Congrats to Sacred Heart's Michael Holloway for taking home the final 97.3 ESPN High School Athlete of the Week award of 2012.

Now on to 2013 and a new batch of local student-athletes who have proven themselves on the field this week. You can vote for your pick, and hear the winner announced on the South Jersey Sports Report with Tyler Donohue Saturday morning at 9:00.

Dennis White, Basketball, Atlantic City - The Vikings emerging playmaker scored 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds in a victory over Middle Township. His performance helped push Atlantic City past the Panthers in a rematch of the 2012 Cape-Atlantic League championship game.

Bridget Flynn, Track & Field, Ocean City - Still just a junior, this Red Raider continues to add to her rapidly expanding athletic resume. Flynn established a new school record in the 800-meter event, while competing at the Marine Corps Holiday Classic. She finished just shy of 2 minutes, 20 seconds.

Isaac Clark, Track & Field, Pleasantville - Isaac often shares accolades with his twin brother, Jacob, but the senior gets the spotlight to himself for this week's vote. Clark, who has spent most of his high school career ahead of the CAL pack, won the 800 at the Marine Corps Holiday Classic.

Michael Holloway, Basketball, Sacred Heart - He starred in a 65-62 win over United Conference rival St. Joe, scoring 30 points. Holloway also had his way in the paint, pulling down 17 rebounds.

Jake Plummer, Track & Field, Egg Harbor Township - Plummer outpaced the competition at the South Jersey Track Association Large School meet in Toms River. He secured a first-place finish in shot put competition.
