Wildwood Catholic's standout senior Jordan Robertson continues to shine in South Jersey, taking home last week's 97.3 ESPN High School Athlete of the Week honors.

Meanwhile, we have a new batch of local student-athletes this week who have proven themselves worthy in their respective fields.

Jake Logue, Basketball, Southern Regional - He traveled the length of the court and hit a game-winning lay-up after Atlantic City missed a free throw attempt in the closing moments of a South Jersey Group IV showdown. His shot gave the Rams a 57-56 win on the road.

 

Lauryn Fields, Basketball, Middle Township - The senior scored a game-high 20 points in a Cape-Atlantic League championship game win over Wildwood Catholic. Her 12 points in the third quarter helped pull the Panthers back from a double-digit deficit.

 

Drew Dalzell, Basketball, Mainland Regional - The junior scored a career-high 29 points in a Group III quarterfinal victory over Highland.

 

Jordan Robertson, Basketball, Wildwood Catholic - He scored a game-high 25 points in the CAL title game against two-time defending league champion Atlantic City. Roberson rattled the rim with fourth-quarter dunks on the way to a stunning 61-33 win.

 

James Ingersol, Wrestling, Egg Harbor Township - He claimed the Region 8 wrestling title, becoming he first Eagles wrestler to reach the state tournament since 2010.
