We have all stopped for a little snack while taking a long drive, while getting gas, but how many times do you get a sandwich at the gas station?

One specific spot in New Jersey is being recognized for having the best gas station food in the Garden State.

Many times, when you stop, it's a quick bathroom break, a coffee or some type of drink, a premade bagel, or a bag of chips, maybe some sunflower seeds to help pass the time on your drive.

Mashed’s report on ‘The Best Gas Station Food in Every State’ takes a closer look at one particular spot in New Jersey that stands out above all the rest.

Their pick for New Jersey seems to be a little bit unfair. When we think of gas stations, we don't usually think of Wawa, but they do offer gas, which qualifies them for this "award."

According to Mashed, their pick for the best gas station food in New Jersey is any of  Wawa's classic subs, which means you can pretty much order any sandwich at the Wawa gas station and have the best gas station sandwich in the state.
