Wildwood Catholic alum and Temple University freshman, Jahlil White had his best game as the college level on Friday night, highlighted by a tremendous blocked shot and bucket in the Owls 81-72 win over Penn.

White scored six points and blocked three shots, both career highs, in 20 minutes off the bench for Temple.

After missing all of last season for the Owls due to surgery to repair a meniscus tear in his left knee, the Whitesboro native is scoring 3.3 points and grabbing 3.4 rebounds in 16.4 minutes per game this year.

At Wildwood Catholic, his senior season, White was named Third Team All-State and averaged 16.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.4 steals per game, helping Crusaders to a third straight Cape-Atlantic League Tournament title and the South Jersey, Non-Public B title.
