New Luxury Hotel “The Wild Resort” Coming to Wildwood Boardwalk in 2026

When you stroll down the Wildwood boardwalk in the summer of 2026, you'll see a brand new luxury hotel called “The Wild Resort”, which is currently under construction at Glenwood Avenue.

The boutique hotel is expected to open in late spring or early summer 2026 at 3000 Boardwalk, featuring 75 rooms, a fitness center, and a Wildwood-themed gift shop.

The new hotel will have five stories and is situated between the two main Morey’s piers.

Rooftop Dining and Ocean Views Await

It will feature a rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant offering panoramic views of the Wildwoods, the entire boardwalk, and the surrounding areas.

Retail and Dining Additions Along the Boardwalk

There will be retail stores situated along the boardwalk, which will include a Starbucks, an It's Sugar Candy store, and a local pizzeria

Wildwood’s Ongoing Renaissance

Wildwood has had a renaissance recently with new hotel developments, food options like The Rook Wildwood, Honky Tonk Saloon, Sandy Boots Saloon, Steve’s Prince of Steaks, Shawn’s Cheesesteaks & Paninis, and Johnny Longhots.  There have been new retail options like East Coast Surf Shop and Rommadill Pickling Store.

Upcoming Holiday Events in the Wildwoods

They have other events coming up in November, like Christmas in North Wildwood, the weekend of November 28-30, featuring a scavenger hunt with prizes. There is a Family Holiday Beach Bonfire at 2nd & Surf Ave. on November 28. Restaurant week will be November 28 – December 7.
