Wildwood Catholic alum Jahlil White was named the Big 5 Rookie of the Year for his freshman season at Temple University.

White, who was one of three Owls to play in all 29 games, led Temple in rebounding (6.0 ppg/10th AAC) and steals (33), while ranking second in field goal percentage (.427) while averaging 7.5 points and 25.9 minutes per game. He has two double-doubles on the season and leads the squad with four double-figure rebound games.
