Goalie Brian Boucher will join the Flyers for the first time this season in Toronto. The Flyers recalled Boucher, 36, on Sunday as Michael Leighton has an apparent upper-body injury according to the Adirondack Phantoms.

Leighton played only one game so far this season. He allowed five goals on 26 shots in a 5-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Jan. 27

Boucher is 2-4 with the struggling Phantoms, but his personal statistics suggest he’s playing better than his record. He has a .908 save percentage and 2.71 goals-against average in six games in the AHL this season.
