As baseball finally appears to be on the precipice of a return to the field, the coronavirus continues to loom large.

The Phillies have announced four additional positive cases of COVID-19 in organization in recent days, bringing the total number of positive cases to within the organization to 12, including seven players.

All other tests came back negative.

The team tested 32 individuals (12 staff members and 20 players) after the initial outbreak, leading to today's announcement.

This comes just days after Jim Salisbury reported that five players and three staff members tested positive for the virus.
