CAMDEN, NJ ( -- Typically, the Philadelphia 76ers are a team that's best known for its injury mishaps. Because of the often discussed 'rookie curse,' and the frequent Joel Embiid setbacks, nobody is ever really surprised when the Sixers have health issues anymore. At this point, it almost has become expected.

With the 2019 training camp sessions in the book, though, the Sixers actually made it out injury-free! Sure, there were a couple of scares in the recent past, such as the Matisse Thybulle ankle roll -- which took everybody on a trip down memory lane. But other than that, the team has remained relatively healthy during their first week back.

On Tuesday, the Sixers began their training camp in Camden with a fully healthy roster. After day one, there was one minor injury, which affected Sixers' center, Norvel Pelle. After rolling his ankle, Pelle was further evaluated after Tuesday's practice and was cleared for return on Wednesday.

The only other concern this week surrounded none other than Joel Embiid. As Sixers' head coach Brett Brown chose to limit Embiid in day's one and two, he was just easing the Sixers' big man back into the game. By Thursday, though, Embiid was a full-go.

On Friday, Sixers Senior Vice President of Communications Dave Sholler addressed the media regarding injury concerns heading into Saturday's annual scrimmage. With Pelle healed up, and Embiid practicing as a full participant, the entire roster is healthy and good to go for Saturday's matchup in Delaware.
