The opening night of the Cape-Atlantic League playoff went as planned as all the top seeds held true.
- Atlantic City (2) was an impressive 69 - 49 winner over Bridgeton (7). Leon Daniels led the Vikings with 18 points. Atlantic City will face Holy Spirit (3), a 65 - 44 winner over Egg Harbor Twp. (6) on Monday night. The two teams will meet for the third time this season on Friday at Absegami at 5:00 pm.
- The top seed St. Augustine (1) was a 73-60 winner over St. Joe (8) in a father-son rematch. Sa'eed Nelson led the Hermits with 27 points. Next up for the Hermits is Wildwood Catholic (4). The Crusaders were 40 - 38 winner over Middle Twp. (5), as a Panthers three-point shot missed at the buzzer keeping Wildwood Catholic alive for Friday's CAL semi-finals at Absegami.
