It has been more than two weeks since the Phillies acquired catcher Wilson Ramos from the Tampa Bay Rays.  Lately, Ramos has stuck around the Tampa Bay area, doing some rehabilitation for the Clearwater Threshers.  That time may be coming to an end.

Ramos has played in three games for the Treshers.  In those three games, Ramos is 4 for 9 (.444) with three doubles.

Clearwater Threshers fanatic @BaseballBetsy caught some video of one of the doubles Ramos hit in Clearwater:

Should Ramos be in the starting lineup for the Phillies on Wednesday, he brings a solid track record against the Boston Red Sox.   In 30 at bats against Red Sox pitching, Ramos is 10 for 30 (.333 average).  Ramos has two home runs and six RBI, contributing to an OPS of .942 against Red Sox pitching.

The Phillies have not announced a move is imminent.  The likely corresponding roster move would be that Andrew Knapp is sent to Triple-A Lehigh Valley before a September 1 return.  That minor league stay is long enough that the Phillies will not be charged a minor league option on Knapp.
