Barstool's Dave Portnoy Visits Slice Pizza In Washington Township

Famous pizza reviewer Dave Portnoy of Bardtool Sports is making the rounds in the Garden State. Earlier in the week he gave a solid score of 7.5 to Topo Gigio Pizza in Bellmawr.'

For this review, Portnoy took his "One Bite" act over to Washington Township, to Slice Pizza, located at the Tower Square Shopping Center, 137 Egg Harbor Rd, Sewell.

The style of pizza, a light, well-done, and crisp pizza threw off Portnoy a bit, as he was ready to take his first bite.

He debated with a few spectators about the pizza's style. One said they thought it was Neapolitan, and Portnoy referred to it as tomato swirl.

"It's good quality pizza," He offered before giving his final score of 7.4.

He noted Slice has been around for 13 years and added to a couple of girls who were watching the review that they do not tell the establishment that they are showing up before they come.

One of the funny parts about the review was after he had a bunch of girls from Salon Giavanna Marie, which is located right next door to Slice, asking to take pictures with Portnoy. He happily agreed as one of the girls commented, "This is the best thing at my Salon, ever".

One of the girls said, "I'm shaking".

Just shows how impactful a visit from Portnoy can be for the pizza shop and the people who happen to see him there when he does his review.
