Super Bowl Champion Coach Bill Belichick shouts out Ocean City, NJ, during NFL Draft

The Battle at the Beach showcase event that will be taking place in Ocean City and Egg Harbor Township in August got a major shoutout by former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick during the first-round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night.

Belichick, who was a guest on "The Pat McAfee Show Draft Spectacular" and their coverage of the NFL Draft on YouTube, mentioned the three-day event, asking the panel if they want to see the best high school football game in American.

"IMG vs Bergen Catholic in Ocean City, NJ at the Battle at the Beach," the six-time Super Bowl champion coach said.

The West Jersey Football Coaches Association responded with this post on social media when they heard the shout out from Belichick.

Belichick isn't wrong, the event will feature two national powers with IMG Academy, of Florida, facing North Jersey power Bergen Catholic at Ocean City's Carey Stadium on Thursday night in a game that will appear on ESPN.

The event will shift over to Egg Harbor Township High School for the final two days.
