Over the past couple of days, many Philadelphia athletes, both past and present, have used their platforms to speak out against racial injustice that have led to protests in Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and other Delaware Valley cities.

These protests have been breaking out all across the country in the wake of the death of George Floyd, who died in the custody of police officers in Minneapolis.

The protests have hit close to home, with riots breaking out, leading some of the areas top sports figures issued statements on their social media platforms.
