According to a NBC 10 Philadelphia report, Cole Hamels has told the Phillies he wants a seven-year deal.

The 28-year-old impending free agent left-hander has registered Cy Young type numbers this season: 2.28 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 49/9 K/BB ratio across 47 1/3 innings this season.
