Dave Weinberg’s Eagles-Cardinals 2-minute drill (better late than never edition)
Here is a quick look back at the Eagles 20-17 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Eagles' best number: 2 (Cameron Dicker field goals)
Eagles' worst number: 0 (touchdowns in second half)
View from my living room:
I watched the game on Monday after spending Sunday attending the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame inductions ceremonies at Hard Rock. Congrats to Chuck Mussachio, Dr. Domenic Coletta and all the inductees.
Three stars
- Eagles place-kicker Cameron Dicker (2 field goals, 2 extra points in relief of injured Jake Elliott)
- Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (2 rushing touchdowns)
- Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz (because he's Zach Ertz)
Eagles' best play
Safety C.J. Gardner Johnson grabbed his first interception as an Eagle.
Eagles' worst play
The Cardinals picked up a first down on a fake punt that led to a field goal at the end of the first half.
Turning point
Cards quarterback Kyler Murray slid a half-yard short of the first down marker with 22 seconds left in regulation, then spiked the ball on third down. That forced Arizona's backup place-kicker Matt Ammendola to try a 43-yard field goal, which his missed wide right.

Eagles are 5-0 for the first time since 2004. … Eagles are the NFL's only undefeated team. … Left guard Landon Dickerson and center Jason Kelce were forced out of the game with injuries. … Former Cardinal Haason Reddick had the Eagles' only sack. … Former Eagle Zach Ertz exchanged pleasantries with GM Howie Roseman and former teammates before the game. … Cards have lost eight straight home games dating back to last season. … Cards have not scored a single point in the first quarter this season. … Eagles have a half-game lead in the NFC East over the Cowboys (4-1) and Giants (4-1).
