Drift Seafood: Upscale BYOB Seafood Restaurant Opening in Ventnor City
A new upscale BYOB seafood restaurant is opening in Ventnor City on Tuesday in the spot that used to be home to Oceancrat Seafood Boil.
Drift Seafood Opens in Ventnor City
Drift Seafood is described as a casual, boutique-style restaurant with land and sea options for all, and is located at 6506 Ventnor Ave in Ventnor City.
They are having their grand opening on Tuesday with samples of their food, a guest appearance from Chef Leslie Daniel, Executive Chef at Kuro, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, who just appeared on Food Network's Guy's Grocery Games, and 24 in 24 between 4 pm-6 pm, answering questions and taking pictures!
What’s on the Menu?
I am a big fan of seafood and look forward to checking this place out this summer. Taking a look at their menu, there are plenty of things that stand out to me, including the lobster ravioli, the clam chowder, and the sea bass miso.
If you were a fan of Oceancrat Seafood Boil in Ventnor, which opened in June of 2022, there is a location at 28 S Church Rd in Maple Shade. Oceancrat was a seafood boil spot that offered Louisiana Cajun-style seafood with a twist. They served boiled buckets of lobster, crabs, fish, and fried shrimp, fish & scallops baskets.
It was a really good seafood spot that was short-lived, but it looks like Drift will be offering some great seafood dishes in addition to the other options on their menu.
Here are some pictures of more of the great food options on their menu made by Chef Gustavo.
