Eagles starting left tackle Jordan Mailata has ruled out for Sunday’s game because of a knee injury sustained after he got rolled up on in practice in Thursday.

"Jordan [Mailata] is going to be out, Andre [Dillard] will start," Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said on Saturday.

Mailata practiced on Thursday, but did not practice Friday and will miss the game, but gow long he will be out is still unclear.

"We're going to just play it by ear," Siriqnni said. "We don't really know exactly yet, but we're hoping soon, sooner than later, but yeah, he'll be out this week."

He’s added to the list that already included Brandon Brooks, meaning the Eagles will be going to Dallas with two starters on the offensive line out.

"They've had a ton of communication back and forth with each other, so as far as the communication and a chemistry standpoint, I've got no worries there," Sirianni explained. "This is a really tight unit, not just 1 through 5 but 1 through 10."

In their place will be third-year player Andre Dillard, a former first-round pick. Dillard has plenty of reason to play well in Monday. He lost the battle at left tackle, but certainly could command some attention on the trade market if he plays well Monday.

"I've seen him have confidence, Sirianni said about Dillard. "I've seen him be able to shut the pass rush down in our practice. We gave him a couple different looks of different scout team players to go against, and I feel really confident in Andre, and he should feel confident in himself."

As for Brooks Absence, Sirianni announced earlier this week that rookie second-round pick Landon Dickerson will start in his place.
