Eagles are releasing former Pro-Bowl LB Devin White
The Philadelphia Eagles have announced they are parting ways with former Pro Bowl linebacker, Devin White, who they signed in the offseason after making 83 tackles in 13 starts for the Bucs in 2023.
White was a second-team All-Pro selection in 2020, helping the Buccaneers win Super Bowl LV.
He has not been active in any of the team's four games this season and is now a free agent.
The team is moving on with Nakobe Dean and free agent addition Zack Baun as their starting linebackers and must feel confident in veteran Oren Burks, rookie Jeremiah Trotter Jr, and youngster Ben VanSumeren.
Dean and Baun had combined for 69 tackles, two sacks, and six tackles for loss this season.
White started the season with an ankle injury and does not play special teams which made it hard for the team to activate him on game days.
