Eagles Inactives: Who’s in, who’s out vs Bills
Linebacker Nakobe Dean is among the Philadelphia Eagles’ six inactive players for Sunday’s contest against the Buffalo Bills.
Jihad Campbell to Start for Nakobe Dean
Without Dean, first-round pick Jihad Campbell will get the start at linebacker.
Starting right tackle Lane Johnson, quarterback Sam Howell, defensive back Michael Carter II, running back A.J. Dillon, and edge rusher Joshua Uche are also inactive for the Eagles. In Johnson's place will be Fred Johnson, who has been starting since Lane Johnson went out in Week 11 with a foot sprain.
Howell will serve as Philadelphia’s emergency third quarterback behind starter Jalen Hurts and backup Tanner McKee.
Jalen Carter did not appear on Philadelphia’s final Week 17 injury report and is active for the game. Carter has been dealing with shoulder injuries, getting a procedure back on December 1.
