Eagles Inactives: Rodney McLeod Sitting Out Week 1 vs Falcons
The Eagles’ 2021 opener against the Atlanta Falcons is finally here and Philadelphia is extremely healthy entering the first game of the season with just one projected starter missing today's game.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters on Friday that starting right guard Brandon Brooks will play in Week 1, while safety Rodney McLeod and rookie lineman Landon Dickerson would not.
With McLeod out expect to see Marcus Epps and K'Von Wallace share the reps in place of McLeod.
Today, we got the rest of the inactive players ahead of today's game with the Falcons.
No real surprises here with No. 3 quarterback Gardner Minshew inactive today along with second-year linebacker Davion Taylor and recently signed cornerback Mac McCain.
For Atlanta, no real surprises on their end either, with running back Wayne Gallman the biggest name on the list. It looks like the Falcons will go with Cordarrelle Patterson backing up Mike Davis at running back.
The Falcons declared RB Wayne Gallman, QB Feleipe Franks, CB Darren Hall, WR Frank Darby, and DL Ta'Quan Graham inactive for Week 1 against the Eagles.
