Eagles Inactives: Sidney Jones to Play, Jets Missing Multiple Starters
The Eagles are still pretty banged up, especially in the secondary going into their Sunday match-up with the New York Jets, even with extra time to recover after playing last Thursday night in Green Bay.
There is some good news for Philadelphia, with the biggest positive being third year cornerback Sidney Jones is active and will play despite being listed on this weeks injury report as questionable with a lingering hamstring issue. Fellow cornerbacks Ronald Darby and Avonte Maddox are both inactive.
Also notable for Philadelphia is linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill is active and should have a bigger role this week.
Here is the full list of Eagles inactives for today's 1 p.m. game, which is airing live on 97.3 ESPN:
For the Jets, some big names appear on their list, including quarterback Sam Darnold, who is suffering from mono. With Darnold out, Luke Falk will make the start at quarterback. The Jets are also without a few other starters, including linebacker C.J. Mosley with a groin injury.
