The Philadelphia Eagles returned to the site of their Super Bowl LII victory over the New England Patriots. They failed to find the same magic they had that February night in a 38-20 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
The Eagles are still pretty banged up, especially in the secondary going into their Sunday match-up with the New York Jets, even with extra time to recover after playing last Thursday night in Green Bay.
Beset by injuries and struggles, Eagles are in dire straits again at cornerback for Sunday's game against the Jets. Avonte Maddox and Ronald Darby are out. Sidney Jones is "day-to-day" . Jalen Mills and Cre'von LeBlanc are still unable to play.
The Philadelphia Eagles once again had a chance to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and failed losing at home to the Detroit Lions 27-24. Their two losses this season have come by a combined total of just seven points.
