Eagles Injury Report: Bryce Huff Back at Practice and a Long DNP List
The Philadelphia Eagles’ first injury report of the week ahead of their NFC East matchup with Washington is long – especially the “did not practice” list.
Luckily for the Birds, it’s not as bad as it may sound.
Of the nine players who did not practice Wednesday, the reason for all but one was rest.
The Eagles could also get back edge rusher Bryce Huff, who was listed as limited, returning from wrist surgery back in November.
So will he play on Sunday against Washington?
"We'll see. We'll see how the week goes," said Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni on Wednesday. We'll see how long it takes. As you know, the practice window opened up. We'll see how it goes."
Wide receiver Britan Covey and quarterback Jalen Hurts were both full participants on Wednesday. Covey missed last week's game against the Steelers with a neck injury, while Hurts played with what appeared to be a taped-up finger on his non-throwing hand.
Here is the full Wednesday injury report:
Wednesday
DNP – RB Saquon Barkley (rest), G Mekhi Becton (rest), WR AJ Brown (rest), S Sydney Brown (concussion), G Landon Dickerson (knee/rest), T Lane Johnson (rest), C Cam Jurgens (rest), T Jordan Mailata (rest), WR DeVonta Smith (back/rest)
LIMITED – DE Bryce Huff (wrist)
FULL – WR Britan Covey (neck), QB Jalen Hurts (left finger)
Note: Eagles held a walkthrough. Today’s report is an estimation.
